My name is Shayla Crowell.

Ms. Gallant was my grade 3 teacher, but she was also my friend. If I ever had a problem, or needed someone to talk to, she would be there. She would not only listen but she would try to help. Ms. Gallant was one of the nicest people I know. Not only that, she was really funny and had a great sense of humour. I remember when I was in her class and we would have a thing called Student of the Week. When it was your turn to be Student of the Week you would get asked questions and get your picture put up on the wall. When it was my turn to be Student of the Week she was asking me my questions. One question she asked me was who I looked up to, and I said, "Lynn Blackburn." She stopped writing down my answers and asked, " Now why would you look up to her?"

I created a group on Facebook named In Memory of Paula Gallant. People are joining the group everyday. At this point in time there a 680 people in the group.
