GLACE BAY SUPPORTS PAULA (May 13, 2007)

What more could ever possibly be said of small, home towns.  On May 13^th, 2007, a tag-day fund raiser was held in Paula's home town of Glace Bay, NS. Donations from this event were used to help offset the costly venture of maintaining Paula's Place, the art room dedicated in her honour.  The emotion felt by all who stopped to read her poster, to gaze upon Anna's picture, or to view the album compiled from photos taken during the restoration of Paula's art room was overwhelming.  Even more overwhelming were the kind words spoken by strangers; people not acquainted with Paula but who felt the reverberation of her murder.  Never to be forgotten was the gentleman with the one perfect tear which fell from his cheek as he dropped his coin in the donation can.
