Supporters of Miss Gallant’s Favourite Season



Nova Scotia Department of Education – Edited and approved “Miss Gallant's Favourite Season” for distribution to all elementary schools in Nova Scotia. They purchased 2 copies for each school library. These arrived at the schools in October 2009.

Heritage Insurance (1997) Ltd. – Moncton Headstart Inc. is an organization devoted to helping parents of “at-risk” families. They assist parents by helping them to teach their children the personal and interpersonal skills needed, while they are in their most formative years. Heritage Insurance purchased and donated 36 books to the Moncton N.B. Headstart Inc. A very thoughtful contribution to a wonderful and valuable reading program.

Hyndman & Company Ltd – Books were purchased with funds raised by the staff of Hyndman & Company Ltd. A casual day was held, Sept 4, 2009 and thanks to the efforts of these caring individuals, 38 books were delivered to all of the Consolidated/Elementary Schools in the province of PEI.

Kim Dunn – ECMA award winner Kim Dunn performed at a house concert in October 2009 and donated a large percent of the proceeds to the Paula Gallant Memorial Fund.

Staples Inc – Staples, Bayers Lake, hosted three book signings during teacher appreciation days in August. With their help over 100 books were autographed and sold, many to Paula's friends and colleagues. Staples also made a monetary donation.

Advocate Printing and Publishing – Not just printers for the publication of Miss Gallant's Favourite Season. Truly, this company believes in community support and making dreams a reality. They understood our vision and were instrumental in helping us to get this project out of the starting gate.
